good to know.

I love dogs, I was fortunate to have once been in the company of a German Shepard, a Labrador Retriever, a Lurcher and a Great Dane. I always wanted a Bernese Mountain Dog but Telangana’s Climate wasn’t in my favor.

Work Experience.

Worked as a Networks Operations Center Engineer at CtrlS Datacenters where my key responsibilities included monitoring, analyzing and troubleshooting enterprise servers from a central location. My team and I were the forefront of Incident management. We often  acted as a bridge between technically unsound customers and Senior/onsite engineers.

I love to travel ( anywhere my budget permits) I’ve covered major Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Chandigarh, Puducherry etc. Almost always I travel with my group of friends from college. SIx is just the perfect number to travel, everyone will fit in an SUV and costs come down for everyone but the Vegetarian

Unpopular Opinion: I don’t like to travel to goa , I’d rather go to Daman and spend half the money for virtually the same experience.

I developed a knack for reading early on being the only son to an Electrical Supervisor and a Teacher I read both Telugu and English books.  My childhood favorites bookseries were Ruskin Bond short stories, AmarChitraKatha, Chandamama, BalaBharatam. As an adult I really loved Factfulness and Astrophysics for people in a hurry. These days as always my eBook library is filled with science, Psychological Fiction, Crime, Epic fiction and philosophical treatise. I’m currently reading ‘God is not Great’ by Christopher Hitchens

Rooting / Modding

Android has always been and hopefully forever be my favorite mobile operating system. I’m an an enthusiast and would always check out all the new phones, hardware and trends in the android space. I’ve rooted all my android phones starting from HTC-One to the Oneplus 8T I’m using now. I root my devices to unlock a plethora of features unavailable on nonrooted phones. Ex Hosts file to block ads, Custom ROMs, Change my MAC address etc. There were times when I’d inadvertently be stuck in a boot loop or other issue, I’d spent countless hours trying to figure out a solution and right after I did I’d make a Youtube video about it so that Other modders can solve the same issue without a hassle.

Oh Boy do I love cinema. I’ve grown up in a family of cinema buffs. We predominantly watched Tollywood ( Telugu ) films, Sam Raimi’s SpiderMan ( Dubbed in Telugu) was the first Hollywood one  we watched. Though the film didn’t age well it has a special place in our hearts. We quickly transitioned to watching Hollywood films by renting them from Video stores. After the advent of On-demand video through OTT platforms we re-watched all our favorites from Shawshank Redemption to the Dark Knight and from Raithubidda to Baahubali. I even went as far as writing a compelling story about a Woman’s redemption in a cybernetic setting. I did narrate it to a few potential actors but the project never saw the light of day.

Unpopular Opinion: Godfather is overated. I said it! “mikedrop”

My first game was Minesweeper, I’m not exceptional at the game but was just awestruck by it. I slowly moved on to pinball and later on my family got our own Home PC. I played everything from Doom and Max Payne to Half-Life and Age of Empires. Roleplay and action adventure games are my favorites. I’m surprised by how realistic simulation games like Microsoft Flight Simualtor  and Cities skylines have become . I believe gaming is a superior medium than cinema to experience stories. FIrewatch is one such game which proves my point. In my opinion, the best game ever  is Red Dead Redemption 2. I picked it up right before  the Covid-19 lockdown and experienced everything it could offer. Never before was I so attached to characters other than the one I’m playing. I’d give the second place to WItcher 3. I was also all in on the PUBG fever in India and am also an avid Rainbow 6 Siege player.
